Haberdashers’ Hall Treats our #ITAVIP Guests with Stella & Dot

As you may have already heard, we were lucky enough to host a partnership event with Stella & Dot, who sell gorgeous jewellery and accessories. With tube strikes looming, we were a bit worried, but our very special guests defied the travel chaos to make their way to the sunny and serene setting of Haberdashers’ Hall.

An Evening of Fun & Fashion

We’ve had such fun working with Sophie Mitchell and Laura White from Stella & Dot UK, and it was great to see them in action. The jewellery display was simply stunning, encouraging guests to touch and try things on rather than leaving them hidden behind glass cases.

After the canapés, Sophie and Louise took to the microphone to tell the guests a little bit about the brand, how they themselves came to be working for Stella lorazepam canada & Dot, and some of their insights into finding each woman’s signature style. It was certainly very interactive, with our very own Jen and Jodie modelling the pieces that Stella & Dot had kindly loaned them for the evening.  Jen’s face when Sophie removed the pendant from her necklace to show how it could be changed to a different look was a priceless moment!

A Relaxed Summer Party Atmosphere

As our summer party expert Jessica Stefan knows only too well, there’s something about summer parties that really suits a more informal atmosphere. With the outdoor and indoor space on fantastic show with the gorgeous sunny weather, and acoustic tunes from singer Emel Michael, Haberdashers’ Hall really was at its finest:

[authorquote id=’jessica.stefan’]I couldn’t believe how well the Cabana bed from Velvet Living worked in the Courtyard it transformed it into a beautiful Spanish terrace on Tuesday night.  We were also very lucky with that the good weather lasted, the centre of Haberdashers’ Hall is certainly a suntrap and for a split second you thought you had entered a private Villa in Alicante.  With drinks flowing, food being enjoyed and catch ups to be had it was sad the night had to come to an end, I would have loved to have stay in my Spanish oasis for the whole night.[/authorquote]

Not to mention that the flowers from our good friends at Peppermint Poppy added a perfect flash of colour to pair with the glittering accessories from Stella & Dot. Our wedding guru Jodie Martin was particularly impressed:

[authorquote id=’jodie.martin’]Our fab Stella & Dot event at Haberdashers’ Hall gave us the perfect opportunity to showcase some of our fantastic suppliers, one of these being Peppermint Poppy! With summer just around the corner and the wedding season fast approaching it was a great chance to have a look at the vibrant bold statement colours which are really popular this year. Why not add some unique vintage vases to create the perfect centre piece on your special day.[/authorquote]

Sparkling Cuisine

It’s no secret how proud we are to work with our catering partners at Chester Boyd, and Executive Chef Karen Poynter really outdid herself in coming up with bespoke canapés, bowl food and a stunning dessert table for the event. The trio of canapés included teardrop tartlets of fresh Cromer crab and asparagus tips, Kentish Ranger chicken ceasar salad cones and brie lollipops in pineapple jelly.

The bowl food was an even better show of Karen’s creativity. For her dish of aged Herefordshire beef, she poached ‘fingers’ of salsify in red wine to give them a pink tint, before dressing them in a fried shallot ring. To play on the haberdashery history of the venue, her pan fried salmon was served with cucumber ‘ribbons’ and caviar ‘pearls’. They tasted just as spectacular as they looked!

Decked in pearls, buttons and ribbons, the dessert table was a feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds! Glittering with gold dust, the chocolate mousse crowns were a melt in the mouth delight alongside Eton Mess and Summer Pudding. It clearly looked very inviting, as the guests tucked in happily.
